Poonam Shah Interiors ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit poonamshahinteriors.co.uk or make an enquiry, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

This policy is provided as general guidance and is not a substitute for independent legal advice. We'd recommend having a solicitor review it before relying on it, particularly if your business details, suppliers, or data practices change.

For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller is Poonam Shah Interiors, a UK-based interior design practice serving North West London, St Albans and surrounding Hertfordshire areas.

Enquiry data from people who don't go on to become clients is kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Data relating to active or completed projects is kept for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet our legal and accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years after a project concludes, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements).

7. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. It's a static website with no cookie banner or tracking scripts running.

The only third-party connection made when you visit is to Google's font servers, to load our typefaces (see Section 4). This is a technical connection to deliver a file, and to the best of our knowledge does not set a cookie in your browser. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools in future that do use cookies, we'll update this policy and add a consent banner in line with PECR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults commissioning interior design work. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
